CLOTHING
Located just North of the
Equator, the climate is Tropical year round with temperatures ranging from 210C to 330C
and rainfall of 200 cm a year. Light, cool and casual wear. Some establishments require
long sleeved shirts with ties or a batik shirt for the evening.
TRANSPORTATION
Kuala Lumpur International
Airport is approximately 75 km from Kuala Lumpur. Taxis and fast train services are
available at the airport.
• Coupons for taxis can be purchased at taxi booths located immediately near the exit
of Arrival Hall. The cost of a budget taxi services from KLIA to location in Central Kuala
Lumpur is approximately USD 25 - 30. Higher fares will be charged for airport limousines.
• The KLIA Express (fast train) operates from KLIA to KL Central Station. The fare is
approximately USD 12 for an adult.

Banks operate from 9.30 am to 4
pm, (Monday to Friday), from 9.30 am to 11.30 am, (Saturdays).

Majority of electrical appliances are based on 240 volt, 50 cycle systems.
